Encouraging Progress of Domestic Business in Agriculture

The importance and necessity of agricultural exhibitions for us, those working in agriculture, is unquestionable. This exhibition has been organized at an exceptionally high level. The exhibits and the rich informational content of the business program consistently enhance our knowledge and broaden our capabilities in running farms more effectively. I was pleased to observe that Azerbaijani companies are increasingly occupying more space at the exhibition. This demonstrates the expanding potential of local businesses in agriculture and a reduction in reliance on foreign manufacturers.
For the 2025 exhibition, our center has organized a visit for ten farmers, engaged in crop farming, beekeeping, horticulture, and livestock breeding. Each of them found nearly all the information they were looking for. This included agricultural machinery, some of which were seen for the first time, as well as seeds, fertilizers, seedlings, and other essential supplies. Additionally, we were particularly impressed by the stand of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA). It was encouraging to see beekeeping businesses from our region participating. I believe this is an excellent opportunity for our farmers and an added benefit for them to present their products at future exhibitions.
