This year, the first Agrarian Business Festival was held in Imishli. Organised by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, the festival brought together farmers from the regions of Imishli, Saatly, Sabirabad, Beylagan, and Bilasuvar. Various agricultural products, machinery, and equipment were showcased at the event. Farmers were introduced to seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, modern irrigation technologies, and agricultural machinery, receiving detailed information on their application.

Opening the event, the head of the Imishli District Executive Authority, Elchin Rzayev, emphasised that such events significantly contribute to the development of agriculture in the regions, the education of farmers, and the introduction of new technologies. The Director of the Agrarian Innovation Center, Anar Jafarov, noted that agribusiness festivals are an important platform for conveying modern technologies and innovations in agriculture to farmers, as well as for strengthening ties between farmers and suppliers. The Chairman of the Agro Credit and Development Agency, Yalchin Jamalov, spoke about state support for the agricultural sector, especially preferential loans and other financial mechanisms, highlighting the importance of effective use of these opportunities by farmers.

As part of the festival, in addition to offering various agricultural services and showcasing products, a credit fair was held to support the development of entrepreneurship in the regions, increase farmers' financial literacy, and inform them about the provision of preferential loans. Specialists from about 10 banks and non-bank credit organisations participating in the fair provided potential clients with consultations and recommendations on lending issues.

Furthermore, a panel discussion on "State Financial Mechanisms" was held as part of the event. Representatives of the Agro Credit and Development Agency, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, the Agricultural Insurance Fund, banks, and credit organisations participated in the discussion. During the panel discussions, farmers were provided with information on preferential loans, state support for agriculture, and other financial mechanisms, their questions were answered, and technical support was provided to those seeking agricultural loans. The festival also included meetings between farmers, entrepreneurs, and representatives of banks and credit organisations, where potential cooperation opportunities were discussed.

It should be noted that from this year, Agrarian Business Festivals are organised in partnership with the country's leading banks.
