One Day Is Not Enough to Explore the Entire Exhibition

Mehmen Chumen, Sales Director of "Polen" Company (Turkey)

The company I represent specializes in the breeding and production of seeds for corn, soybeans, sunflowers, cotton, sweet corn, alfalfa, and more, followed by their adaptation to local climate conditions.

This is my first time attending an exhibition in Baku, and I came with a clear purpose. It's important for me to study the local market, establish business contacts, and find partners among local companies and farmers engaged in agriculture. "Polen" is a group of companies, and several of our divisions are already actively working with Azerbaijan. My goal is to explore opportunities to expand this cooperation. In my opinion, the Caspian Agro exhibition is the perfect platform for that.

The exhibition is large and dynamic, making it possible to build a wide network of contacts in a short amount of time. One day simply wasn’t enough to connect with all the companies I was interested in. That’s why I came back for a second day. On the first day, I had two very important meetings. The schedule for the second day is also quite full. In my view, this speaks to the high standard of the exhibition and confirms both the scale and quality of its participants. Naturally, the exhibition process is quite intense. We’re using this opportunity mainly to get acquainted and establish initial contacts. I believe I’ll have a significant amount of follow-up analysis to do after the exhibition.
